SHAME DADDY

Shame Daddy (2018-ongoing) is a femme-daddy character, lifestyle, and high-camp mythology, created and performed by Fitch Wilder. Through him we explore the gender tropes that shame and constrict unruly bodies. With him we explode the residues of ancestral shaming, shedding strictures that no longer serve. Shame Daddy is available for performances and nightlife appearences, get in touch to book.
EAT BLOODY PUSSY

EAT BLOODY PUSSY (2016-ongoing) is a queer & feminist performance project, group show, and zine. She demands radical tenderness. She demands vulnerability and communication and guts. She is not limited by biology or gender, but adopts and impels all radical bodies and beings to create through their base places. Through her we explore our softer sources. We find sensual what is messy and utterly human.
The show is produced annually and features interdisciplinary work by 20+ artists of all backgrounds, identities, and creative disciplines. Eat Bloody Pussy was launched as a zine at C’mon Everybody BK, and was subsequently produced as a live show in Bushwick, BK. Eat Bloody Pussy: A Community Garden was mounted at Essex Flowers gallery in August, 2019 as part of their New York Flower Festival. EBP is curated, produced, and created by Fitch Wilder. GIVE ME THE DEATH I NEED
Piano Fight SF 2017 / video stills by Adam Kennedy
GIVE ME THE DEATH I NEED (2015-2016) is a solo performance that tells the story of the artist’s five-year sexual relationship with their highschol teacher, which began when they were fifteen years old. This performance attempts to untangle the bones of this buried story, reckoning with stolen innocence, deep rage, and the weight of feeling unwhole.
The show premiered in November, 2015 as a live performance and installation in the artist’s basement in Oakland, CA. In March, 2016, Wilder remounted the show at Piano Fights, SF in an evening of immersive performance addressing femme and female sexual experiences.

THE HELLIAN TROPE
![]()
THE HELLIAN TROPE (2017) is a post-apocalyptic, imperialist, human propaganda machine. The Trope emerges from a post-water-war Earth, seeking water-rich Alien planets and nations to colonize and command in the mining of import-ready water for elite human consumption. Contemporary and imagined narratives and nightmares mesh in this character-driven sci-fi prediction of a not-so unforeseeable future.
SURFACE I - Touch Tracing
![]()
The first of two Surface pieces, Surface 1 - Touch Tracing (2013) is an exploration of perception. In Surface 1, video is projected on a single sheet of tracing paper that hangs in an otherwise empty room. Body is the observed entity, and yet the surface this body presses against obscures a total vision. It first appears as though there is someone dancing on the other side of the paper, but further examination reveals that no one is there at all.

SURFACE 2 - Mountain Story
In Surface 2 - Mountain Story (2014) the artist uses video to capture movement, texture, and the ephemerality of various elements in movement. They project these video renderings on a single sculpted piece of tracing paper, creating an anonymous and mutable landscape. The viewer is enveloped in meditative space, tuned to the lyrical morphing of an abstract topography.
TANTRUM I
Tantrum I (2013) and Tantrum II (2014) express the physical energy of explosive emotional outburst. The artist "throws a tantrum" and records its impact by painting their movement on a massive paper canvas. While their body tears, crunches, soaks, and streaks the paper, it becomes the topographic landscape and relic of their rage.

M!SERY IS A FAUXX PINK BLANKET
M!SERY IS A FAUXX PINK BLANKET
M!sery Is a Fauxx Pink Blanket (2017) is your softest nightmare. They gorge on pamplemousse LaCroix and Orbit bubblemint, writhing in their furry cocoon, surrounded by tech-noise to obliterate the outside world. This gooey oblivion addresses pervasive states of apathy, oversaturation, and hyper-indulgence as they relate to the current socio-political crises of a technologized, facist america.
TRY
TRY (2018) makes a mockery of the capitalist expectation that working hard and finding the “right solution,” is the antidote to apocalyptic ennui. In other words, “Are you feeling depressed, ambivalent, and shitty? Then this may be the video for you!” <
CREATURE FEELING
CREATURE FEELING (2017) is the nascent exploration of a Mountain awakening into consciousness. Human and Earth experience one feeling body in this video diary. Engage creature feeling as they ask, “I am a mountain, what are you?”
BEBY
In this fifteen minute video, BEBY (2019) takes the viewer on a psychedelic psychodrama between an archetypal MOTHER and CHILD, unfolding in astral time and space. A collaboration between Fitch Wilder and Alexandra Van Zant, this wild romp is designed to subsume the senses and boggle the mind. Let your Jungian imagination run wild 。・゚゚・
